, which is also used with bitcoind. bitcoin -rpcpw=    -- runs with JSON-RPC port open bitcoind -rpcpw=   -- daemon with password If you have a better idea for the switch name, let me know, but keep in mind there will eventually be a password for encrypting the database too.  I'm not sure but I think they may want to use different passwords for the two. It gives a warning if you don't set a password. All commands now require the password as the first parameter.  It'll tell you that if you run "bitcoind help". The central code:   // Check password   if (params.size() < 1 || params[0].type() != str_type)       throw runtime_error("First parameter must be the password.");   if (params[0].get_str() != strRPCPassword)   {       if (strRPCPassword.size() < 15)           Sleep(50);       begin = strRequest.end();       printf("ThreadRPCServer incorrect password attempt\n");       throw runtime_error("Incorrect password.");   } Any comments on these decisions? 1) if (strRPCPassword.size() < 15) Sleep(50);  -- this means if it's a short password, it'll wait 50ms after each attempt.  This might be used as a DoS attack, but I figured if it's a short password, it's more important to protect against brute force password scan.  This may tell outsiders whether the password is less than 15 characters, but less than 15 isn't all that noteworthy, most passwords are less than 15.  If you want to close the DoS possibility, just use a password 15 characters or longer. 2) begin = strRequest.end();  -- if it's a single request with multiple invocations, I throw away the rest if one has a bad password.  This is so you can't stuff it with millions of password attempts in one packet.  What do you think, is this the right thing to do?  (multiple invocation is probably almost never used anyway) I also fixed the two duplicated commands listed in the help: getaddressesbylabel https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3;sa=showPosts;start=300https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3;sa=showPosts;start=3002021-04-05 09:41:39 UTC2021-04-05 09:41:39 UTC2021-04-05 09:41:39 UTC

Sample code snippets to quickly import data set into your application

For more information on how to automatically trigger an import please reference our WebHook API guide

Integrating with Java

import java.io.BufferedReader;
import java.io.InputStreamReader;
import java.net.URL;
import java.net.URLConnection;
import java.util.Arrays;

public class HelloWorld {
  public static void main(String[] args) {

    try {
      URL urlCSV = new URL(
        "https://cache.getdata.io/n88348_56969371a0973ce82db8fe0890dc8aa0eses/latest_all.csv"
      );

      URLConnection urlConn = urlCSV.openConnection();
      InputStreamReader inputCSV = new InputStreamReader(
        ((URLConnection) urlConn).getInputStream()
      );
      BufferedReader br = new BufferedReader(inputCSV);

      String line;
      String[] fields;
      while ((line = br.readLine()) != null) {
        // Each row
        fields = line.split(",");
        System.out.println(Arrays.toString(fields));

      }
      // clean up buffered reader
      br.close();

    } catch (Exception e) {
      System.out.println(e.getMessage());
    }
  }
}

Integrating with NodeJs

const csv     = require('csv-parser');
const https   = require('https');
const fs      = require('fs');

const file = fs.createWriteStream("temp_download.csv");
const request = https.get(
  "https://cache.getdata.io/n88348_56969371a0973ce82db8fe0890dc8aa0eses/latest_all.csv",
  function(response) {
    response.pipe(file);
  }
);

file.on('finish', function() {
  file.close();
  fs.createReadStream('temp_download.csv').pipe(csv()).on('data', (row) => {
    // Each row
    console.log(row);

  }).on('end', () => {
    console.log('CSV file successfully processed');

  });
});

Integrating with PHP

$data = file_get_contents("https://cache.getdata.io/n88348_56969371a0973ce82db8fe0890dc8aa0eses/latest_all.csv");
$rows = explode("\n",$data);
$s = array();
foreach($rows as $row) {

  # Each row
  var_dump( $row);

}

Integrating with Python

import csv
import urllib2

url = 'https://cache.getdata.io/n88348_56969371a0973ce82db8fe0890dc8aa0eses/latest_all.csv'
response = urllib2.urlopen(url)
cr = csv.reader(response)

for row in cr:
  # Each row
  print row

Integrating with Ruby

require 'open-uri'
require 'tempfile'
require 'csv'

temp_file = Tempfile.new( "getdata", :encoding => 'ascii-8bit')
temp_file << open("https://cache.getdata.io/n88348_56969371a0973ce82db8fe0890dc8aa0eses/latest_all.csv").read
temp_file.rewind

CSV.foreach( open(uri), :headers => :first_row ).each do |row|
  # Each row
  puts row
end
